In 2022 Ben Bleicher, Realtor® and his real estate team at PRG BHHS Ambassador Real Estate were named the number one real estate team at BHHS in Lincoln, and broke through $70 million in sales. This comes as no surprise to team leader Ben who had set goals high for the year and then armed his team with the tools they needed to succeed.

How We Did It

The beginning of 2022 was filled with lots of strategizing and meticulous planning for what would be likely the largest team merger in Lincoln history. Ben Bleicher (Founder of PRG) and longtime real estate agent / friend, Derek Kats (Kats & Associates KW) would put their teams together to create the best team in Lincoln! We finished very strong with over $70 Million in sales, which consisted of 259 sold units!  Most teams are very buyer heavy, as they account for most of their business via buyer leads. PRG was almost even, which is an enormous accomplishment, representing 126 Sellers, and 133 Buyers! This balance is such, because we promote methods that get our agents organic business over paid business (leads).  

Creating a real estate team with a ton of real estate agents wasn’t the goal, as both teams were composed of less agents than most teams have, but they were heavy hitting ones. The main criteria we focus on when hiring new agents is how motivated they are to become the best version of themselves possible. There’s a lot more to being a good agent than just wanting success. They need to have the desire to not only crush it, but do so in good fashion, while protecting their clients as strong fiduciaries. Many factors can give an agent the ability to be great, but to truly reach the pinnacle, each one must be willing to constantly learn and grow, so that their clients will realize the greatest level of service/success possible.

We teach, we nurture, we hold accountable, and Ben is in the trenches with them, selling, and creating lots of opportunities for them to seize. Derek has lots of experience building up agents, but also in building strong systems that integrate into our business, to ensure we have not only the most effective processes, but also the top technologies. Our office manager Jen Pfeifer is also on deck, with many years of experience working in corporate real estate, and a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the back end / behind the scenes that keeps the wheels turning. Marketing, we have that covered too. Not only does BHHS have an entire team of graphic designers and marketing crew, but we also have our own in-house marketing guru Larry Owens who’s a beast with design, SEO, and structured market strategy. Now that’s a dream team for our clients and agents to realize success with! Our culture is one of success, hard work, camaraderie, and team work. We don’t compete against each other, but side by side, against all challenges!

We have been building a team of some of the best & brightest real estate agents in town. One of the greatest in Lincoln joined us when Danny Poethig decided to jump on board in the early stages of planning this expansion. Long time PRG teammate Mark Salak is on deck and finding great success in his first few years as a realtor. Ben & Andrea Bleicher (Founders of PRG) plus Operations Manager, Derek Kats, spearhead the team and operations alongside very talented Jen Pfeifer (newly licensed), Office Manager. We’ve got David Kim and Leanne Loofe who came with Derek from KW, and our 3 newest rockstar agents: Tucker Velder, Andy Sprieck, and Natassia Rekte! Every last one is trained, motivated, and diehard fiduciaries for their clients (the way it should be)! Our why is our clients, and each agent is here because they not only enjoy real estate, but are endlessly passionate about it.

What's Next

We have huge plans for 2023 and beyond that include an enormous housing development with ample residential / commercial opportunity, expansion not just in Lincoln, but to Omaha, and eventually Iowa, Missouri, and Colorado (and beyond) as well. Our systems are continuing to grow, as is our technology. We’re already way ahead of most teams, but making even more strides to keep us there.
